DAHW German Leprosy and Tuberculosis Relief Association was founded in 1957 as a leprosy relief organisation in Würzburg. DAHW is an expert in the fight against poverty-related and neglected diseases. The focus is particularly on vulnerable people who are affected or threatened by illness, disability, marginalisation and poverty.

The Benedictine Congregation of St. Ottilien was founded in Bavaria in 1884 as the monks' response to the missionary awakening of the era. The abbeys and priories of the congregation combine community life according to the Rule of St. Benedict with commitment to the young churches in developing countries and young churches. Today the congregation has almost 1,100 monks in 20 independent monasteries and foundations on 5 continents. The communities that put down roots locally and train young people remain connected to the common missionary Benedictine heritage. In word and deed they proclaim God's good news of human salvation.

Don Bosco Mondo

The association was founded in 1980 under the name "Jugend Dritte Welt - Freunde und Förderer der Missionsprokur der Salesianer Don Boscos in Bonn e.V." and has been known as Don Bosco Mondo e.V. since 2011. The organisation primarily supports children and youth aid programmes in over 40 countries worldwide as part of development cooperation. It focuses on school and vocational training as well as working with street children. Don Bosco Mondo also provides emergency aid, promotes measures to improve healthcare and supports local self-help structures, for example through rural development programmes.

Kindermissionswerk - Pontifical Society of the Holy Childhood - Die Sternsinger e.V.


The children's missionary organization 'Die Sternsinger' is the children's relief organization of the Catholic Church in Germany, based in Aachen. It has been organizing the Dreikönigssingen campaign in Germany since 1959, and since 1961 together with the Association of German Catholic Youth (BDKJ).

The LS is a spirit-led movement that brings Catholics together to accomplish our stated mission, in collaboration with all people of good will. The movement brings together a broad range of Catholic organizations and grassroots members from all over the world. These members walk together in synodality and communion with the universal Church on a journey of ecological conversion. Guided by a spirit of subsidiarity, when the timing and context are right, together they create or engage with local Laudato Si’ Circles and Chapters and connect with the global movement in a wide range of initiatives to bring Laudato Si’ to life.

The German Doctors is a medical aid agency (NGO), which is active worldwide. Since every person has the right to receive medical care, our projects provide this healthcare. Whether individuals infected with HIV, undernourished children with deficiency syndromes, or people with chronic diseases, the German Doctors help everyone who needs help, all over the world and voluntarily.

CATHCA  - Catholic Health Care Association 

The Catholic Health Care Association of Southern Africa (CATHCA) is the Catholic Church’s associate body for health in South Africa, Botswana and Eswatini.

CATHCA exists to empower an evolving health care network of 200+ community-based member organizations serving the poor and marginalised. The organisation has forged a relationship of mutual trust with its members, which is rooted in pragmatic solidarity, meaningful accompaniment and commitment to the principle of leaving no‐one behind. CATHCA embraces collaboration with like-minded folks that support coordinated efforts towards health system strengthening and are dedicated to uphold the right to health and wellbeing for the most disadvantaged.
